First of all everyone is welcome…and we mean everyone. Some of you may have been Christians all your lives and known your way around a Lutheran hymn book, others may have never darkened the doorway of a church, but are looking for a place to start. Regardless of where you are in your journey you can find a place to join in. Holy Communion is offered at every worship and all are welcome to share in it.
At 8:00am we offer a more traditional, liturgical style of worship
For those who enjoy the rhythm of the liturgy this may be the style of worship for you. While the form is traditional, the accompaniment is often anything but,
often using a lively ensemble of musicians and a variety of settings of the liturgy
At 10:15 the style is non-traditional…alternative… contemporary…hard to explain
If you have not had any church experience, don’t have any idea what a liturgy is or just prefer a more relaxed setting, this may be the style of worship for you. There are no hymnbooks or liturgies to learn…everything you will need to participate will be up on the screen. Worship is led by a band. Children (even noisy ones) are welcome in worship but there is a staffed nursery you can make use of, if you prefer.
Summer Worship Schedule
Our summer worship schedule begins on Sunday, May 24. We will have one worship service on Sundays during the summer months. This is a blended style worship service that begins at 9:30am.
On Wednesdays … (check the calendar for specifics)
We offer seasonal Worship experiences.
During Lent (late winter, early spring)
our worship is connected with a soup supper (6:00 Soup Supper and 7:00 worship)
During the “summer”
(late spring to early fall…As soon as it gets warm enough) we offer a outdoor campfire worship experience on Wednesday evenings in our outdoor ministry area in the back yard. The campfire will be going by 6pm if you want to roast a hotdog or make a s’more and we will begin worship at 6:30pm
